Ewa Bachminska

Senior Lecturer of Polish

Overview

Ewa Bachminska teaches all levels of Polish and a film analysis course, Animals in Global Cinema. In the past, she taught Spanish and German. Ewa is also a PhD candidate in Animal Science with minors in Slavic Linguistics, Film Studies, and Wildlife Conservation. She advises her students applying for grants to conduct research in Poland. Ten of her students have received such grants so far.

Ewa’s recent student evaluations say, “Coming to Polish class was always a refreshing part of my day,” and “Professor Bachminska has changed the way I view the Polish language and culture, and I’m really grateful that I had the opportunity to take her class for three semesters.”
